We are a movement for all people, and we exist to help you do three things:
LOVE GOD - We want you to discover the person of Jesus Christ and form an intimate relationship with Him. We also want to help you understand the will of God the Father, and aid you in relying on the Holy Spirit as you travel on your own personal faith journey with Him.
LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR - It is our desire that you be equipped to go out into your community to reflect the grace, mercy, and love that we find in God's Word and in our personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
MAKE DISCIPLES - As you grow and mature in your faith, we want to come along side you and prepare you to teach others about what you have learned about Jesus and His will for our lives.
Basically, we want you to live out the great commandments and the great commission that Jesus spoke about in Matthew 22:36-40 & 28:19. And if you don't know what those are, don't worry. We'll to explain it to you later!

THE LEADERSHIP
Pastor K
Pastor K is the founding and lead pastor of Spirit of the Lord Church in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Pastor K completed his undergraduate degree at the University of North Dakota with a degree in Communication and a minor in Religion. He then enrolled at Lutheran Brethren Seminary where he received his Master of Divinity Degree.
Pastor K has served the Lord for over 20 years. He has worked in high school, college age and adult ministries. He has done short term missionary work in the USA, Mexico, Peru and Honduras. Pastor K dedicated over 23 years of his life to our nation’s military and served as a Chaplain, bringing soldiers to God, and God to soldiers.
Pastor K has been married to his wife, Beth, for over 17 years. Together they have a son and two daughters.
